Creation history –
The JConcepts team met on location to photograph, measure and sketch up the 1:1 King Sling. Experienced industry insiders sat to discuss the project and lay plans to fit and finish the popular body to several popular chassis sets on the market. Computer drawings were completed during the summer of 2017 and from there, professionals at JConcepts took the necessary hand finishing time to pin-point focus sections of the creation. Wing, scoop and final fitment were complete during the late summer and decals designs finished and put into production. Test samples were produced and the first working prototype hit the dirt during the late stages of 2017. Professional painting, photography and press release were created to go along with the product. King Sling the video is in the pipeline, stay tuned to JConcepts Inc on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram for the final cut.
Dress for success –
The final vehicle is shown using the JConcepts (#3155) Fling King tires and (#3179) Dragon wheels. The 2.6” wheel diameter and matching tire is the perfect compliment for any mud run, dirt track or grass field conditions.

The Worlds Tour continues with a stop at the Monsters On The Beach in Wildwood NJ. Jason and Fred take a moment before the full size truck competition to talk about the Suspension Conversion Kit and how well it's been doing at recent events. Fred once again took the Freestyle win at the recent Monster Truck Challenge World Finals and the NR/CTPA World Championships with the Grandma Grave Digger themed Slash 4x4 equipped with the Suspension Conversion and Renegades tires mounted on the Tribute Wheels. If you have a Slash 4x4 or a Stampede 4x4, nows the time to convert it to a Monster Truck and be the Freestyle Champ!
Several versions of the A-One hit the track in the summer of 2017 with final testing performed with Felix Law at Village Raceway in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. The all orange colored body took to the track on a hot day and proved fast and competitive very quickly. After some tweaks in the pit area utilizing rear wing options and body mounting position, Felix was on a tear on the asphalt surface with the new A-One. JConcepts anti-tuck devices were added as options to the Light-Weight body to ensure proper high-speed stability.
ROAR approval was complete in September of 2017. Paul Wynn’s classic paint scheme was painted by Kustom R/C Graphics for promotional materials and event plans were made for a debut event at the FSEARA Series in Florida.
