March in Arizona -  The Cactus Classic. For 1/10th electric off-road the Cactus Classic has turned into the premier event in the United States. With World Champions in attendance such as; Masami Hirosaka, Ryan Cavalieri, Neil Cragg, Mark Pavidis, Billy Easton and Atsushi Hara this was not just your average lonely race in the desert. Intense practice throughout made for exciting and extremely fast qualifying.

Quite simply, Ryan Maifield and Ryan Cavalieri were the fastest.

2wd and truck modified: - Ryan Maifield wins!

Throughout qualifying Ryan Maifield put on a show in the 2wd and truck classes by TQing both highly competitive classes. Maifield's secret weapon was doing the "jump" as it was referred to. The "jump" built by the SRS track crew was a 25 foot quad in front of the drivers stand. Maifield mastered the "jump" and the entire SRS course as he pulled off the extremely difficult double win in the 2wd modified and truck classes. Maifield's Associated B4 and T4 vehicles were topped off with the Illuzion body and wings.

4wd modified: - Ryan Cavalieri wins

Showing the touch and speed, current IFMAR World Champion Ryan Cavalieri put his BJ4 Worlds Edition into the top qualifying position. Jared Tebo, Ryan Maifield and Rick Howart also placed their BJ4 Worlds Editions into the 2nd, 9th and 10th qualifying positions respectively. After an intense Triple A-main format Ryan Cavalieri reigned supreme by winning A-main 2 and 3 for a perfect score and the prestigious Cactus title. Ryan Maifield came from 9th on the starting grid to finish 3rd overall.

Congratulations to all the 2007 Cactus Classic winners.
